The Director's initiative fund is
intended for:
- projects for which rapid
funding is essential
- projects which may be preparatory
to larger scale projects
- projects which focus on new
lines of research relevant to disease control that
may not fall within the current workplans.
Director's initiative fund grants do
not exceed 15 000 US dollars and are not renewable.
