Project development grant
   

Project development grants are designed to help scientists from developing countries to formulate technically sound, full-scale research proposals (both research capability strengthening, and research and development (R&D) proposals). Funds may be used for three purposes:

  • to collect baseline or preparatory data
  • to initiate preliminary research
  • to seek the advice of recognized experts in the preparation of a full-scale research proposal.

Project development grants do not exceed 10 000 US dollars and are not renewable.
